The Online Education Office of the University of Chile (OpenUChile) is an initiative promoted by the Vice Rector's Office of Information Technologies with the aim of promoting quality online training through an offer of open courses and continuing education programs. Our team is made up of professionals from the fields of education, technology and communication, who collaborate to design, produce and disseminate innovative training experiences. We work together with various faculties and academic units to bring the knowledge of the University of Chile to people from all over the country and abroad, promoting equitable access to education and digital transformation of learning. OpenUChile's platform runs on Open edX technology, which allows it to offer online courses with an interactive and flexible learning experience. The courses are organized in thematic modules and include video lectures, readings, discussion forums, practical activities and evaluations. Some courses are free and open, while others require payment to access additional content or certification. To get started, simply register at open.uchile.cl, select a course and follow the instructions.
